Now in her second year with the Cerritos College Athletic Training staff after two and a half years with the Santa Ana College Sports Athletic Department is Monica (Cordova) Dinius. While at Santa Ana College, she was a Head Athletic Trainer overseeing the care of about 375 student athletes. Before joining the Dons, Dinius spent two years as the Associate Athletic Trainer at Whittier College where she assisted in coordinating and providing care for 22 athletic teams. Prior to her time at Whittier College, she served as the Athletic Trainer to the USA Men's National Indoor Volleyball Team for the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada. 

Dinius was also a part of the Long Beach State Athletic Training staff as a graduate assistant, working with the nationally ranked men's water polo and men's volleyball teams from 2013-2015. Her experience also includes working at Rowland High School as the Head Athletic Trainer from 2012-2013 and interning with USA Volleyball during the summers of 2012 and 2013.

Dinius started her collegiate education at Cerritos College in the Athletic Trainer Aide Certificate Program. She then transferred to California State University, Fullerton where she received her Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training. After a year of working at Rowland High School, she went on to complete two years as a graduate assistant at California State University, Long Beach where she earned her Master’s of science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport and Exercise Psychology.

Dinius and her husband Taylor were wed in June, 2021.
