As of July 1, 2019, Rory Natividad has assumed the position of Dean of Athletics at Cerritos College, which comes after spending nine years as the Division Dean at El Camino College. His responsibilities on the Torrance campus included overseeing Athletics, Adapted Physical Education, Educational Development, Kinesiology, Radiology Technology, Respiratory Care, Sign Language, Special Resource, Nursing and Student Health. Prior to serving as the Division Dean at El Camino, Natividad held the same role for two years at Rio Hondo College.

In addition to his years as a Division Dean, Natividad was also the Director of Athletics at El Camino College from 2005-08, while also serving as an adjunct professor at Loyola Marymount University (2003-12), Pasadena City College (1996-01) and several other colleges.
 
During his professional career, Natividad has served on a myriad of committees, which included serving as the President of the California Community College Athletic Trainers Association (2006-08), ACCCA Convention Chair (2018-20), El Camino College Accreditation Co-Chair (2020) and as a CCCAA Management Council member. He also earned the Distinguished Service Award from the California Athletic Trainers Association in 2012. Natividad is also a member of the Association of California Community College Administrators, California Community College Athletic Directors Association and California Community College Physical Educators.
 
A product of the South Bay, Natividad attended North Torrance High and was a two-sport athlete, competing in both basketball and baseball. He went on to play baseball at Cal State Dominguez Hills until an injury forced his playing career to come to an end. After being exposed to athletic training in high school and then again due to the injury in college, Natividad pursued and received his degree and certification as an athletic trainer.
 
He went on to work as a certified athletic trainer at various institutions in Southern California, such as Los Angeles Harbor College, Torrance High School, Pasadena City College and El Camino College. Additionally, Natividad spent time with the Southern California Volleyball Association, Summer Pro Basketball League and was a physiotherapist for Cirque Du Soleil.

After earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Education from Cal State Dominguez Hills in 1993, Natividad earned a Masters of Education degree from Azusa Pacific University in 1997. Natividad went on to earn a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University in 2018.
