Cerritos College Volleyball (2023): Appeared in 21 matches and played 71 sets… Finished the season with 130 digs, 17 service aces and six kills… Recorded a season-high 18 digs against Rio Hondo College and had 13 digs against East Los Angeles College… Posted a season-high three kills against Southwestern College, while she had three service aces against Santa Ana College and East Los Angeles…..

Cerritos College Volleyball (2022): Spent the season as a red-shirt…..

Cerritos College Volleyball (2021): Appeared in 20 matches and played in 42 sets… Posted 58 kills and 58 digs along with 11 service aces… Had her two best matches of the season in a row before an injury forced her to miss the final two matches of the year in the conference tournament… Posted a season-high 20 kills against Los Angeles Harbor College and also had 13 digs, while she followed that match with 18 kills and a season-high 21 digs against El Camino College… Had three solo blocks in the match against El Camino College…..

La Mirada HS: Played at multiple age groups for Icon Club team… Was a Scholar-Athlete for three years and earned Principal Honors as a senior… Named her team’s captain as a junior and senior… Did not have a senior season due to Covid… In her junior year, she finished second on the team with 77 kills, 53 digs and 11 service aces… Had 59 kills as a sophomore and 32 kills with 22 digs as a freshman… Spent four seasons on the volleyball team… Was coached by former Cerritos College volleyball player Linda Reich…..

Personal: Would like to transfer to San Diego State University and aspires to be a physical therapist… Hobbies include crocheting, thrifting and eating… Her father played football and baseball in high school… Nicknamed “Maddie” and “Mads”… Has two siblings – Aidan (18) and Evan (17)… Is the daughter of Rudy and Alice Borja… Born in Orange, CA on August 27, 2003…..
