Cerritos College Volleyball (2023): Saw action in 20 matches and played in 58 sets… Finished the season with 98 kills, 39 digs and a pair of assists… Posted four double-figures in kills in four matches, including a season-high 13 kills against East Los Angeles College… Also had 12 kills against Bakersfield College in the Southern California Regional Playoffs… Had a season-high 11 digs in another match against East Los Angeles, while turning in nine against El Camino College…..

Schurr HS: Played for Commerce Crush club team… Was a two-time 2nd Team All-CIF selection and All-Almont League choice… Helped the team to two straight undefeated league seasons and championships… Team also went undefeated in league player as a freshman… Did not have a sophomore year due to Covid… Was a member of the volleyball team for four seasons, as well as three years on the track and field team and played beach volleyball for two years…..

Personal: Would like to transfer to Cal State Long Beach… Hobbies include playing volleyball… Has four siblings – Carlos (32), Brenda (26), Celine (19) and Wardo… Is the daughter of Valentin Cortez and Veronica Espitia… Born in Monterey Park, CA on March 21, 2005…..
