Now in his third season as a member of the coaching staff, Manuel Gomez serves as an assistant offensive line coach. Previously, Gomez spent four season (2013-17) as an offensive line coach at Schurr High.

A graduate of Schurr High, Gomez was named 1st Team All-CIF, 1st Team All-Whittier Area, All-Southern Section and 1st Team all-league offensive lineman his senior year. He helped the team win a pair of league championships in 2003 and 2004.

Gomez then transferred to Saddleback College, where he was a two-time all-conference selection and then went on to play at Lindenwood (MO) University. He was also a two-time all-conference choice. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Lindenwood University in 2008.

Gomez, 36, is single and resides in Monterey Park.
