Joining the coaching staff for his first season, Thavis Miller will work with the defensive linemen. Miller played three years at Iowa Wesleyean University, where he was a 2nd Team All-Upper Midwest Athletic Conference selection his junior year and was named 1st Team his senior year. As a junior, he was second on the team with 7½ tackles for loss and finished with 57 tackles. Miller then went on to play two years with the Milwaukee Mustangs of the Arena Footbal League.

A four-year letterman in football and basketball at Wilcox County (GA) High School, Miller was named All-State in football in 2003 and was a three-time All-Region and All-Middle Georgia Team selection.

Miller went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Business from Rasmussen (IL) College in 2010.

Miller, 33, lives in Garden Grove and has six children; Zatyvion (16), Lataviah (15), Tajavis (14), Amilyon (13), Tryce (4) and Tytan (2).
