Salesian HS: Played on FC Barcelona, Los Alamitos Vikings FC and San Gabriel Valley FC… As a senior, he was a 1^st Team All-CIF and the Santa Fe League Most Valuable Player after leading his team in scoring… Was also their captain and the team’s MVP… In his junior season, he helped the team win the state championship, while earning 2^nd Team All-CIF and 1^st Team all-league… Earned recognition in the Los Angeles Times for scoring seven goals in one half, and went on to lead his team in goals and scoring… His sophomore team won the state and CIF championships, while earning 2^nd Team All-CIF honors… Scored a golden goal in the CIF Quarterfinal game… Team won the CIF championship as a freshman, while he was voted the team’s Rookie of the Year and was a 2^nd Team All-CIF selection… Scored the golden goal in the CIF championship game…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he scored seven goals in one half against St. Anthony High his junior year and scoring the golden goal in the CIF finals his freshman year… Would like to transfer to UC Santa Barbara, UCLA, Loyola Marymount University, Cal State Northridge, Cal State Fullerton or UC Davis… Likes to work out in his spare time… Nicknamed “Aguila”… Has two siblings – Rocio (26) and Maricruz (24)… Is the son of Maricruz Espinoza… Born in Jalisco, Mexico on September 1, 1993…..
