El Rancho HS: Specialized in the 100-yard freestyle (51.0) and 100-yard butterfly (58.0)… Spent four years on the swimming and water polo teams… Named 3rd Team All-CIF as a senior and was voted the water polo team’s Most Valuable Player… Scored 116 goals as a senior and had 13 goals in one game… Also spent one year on the basketball team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was his performance at the league finals… Is working on a minor in history… Would like to transfer to Cal State Long Beach… Hobbies include playing basketball… Has three siblings – Danny (15), Alex (11) and Nick (6)… Is the son of Tom and Lillian Duenez… Born in Whittier, CA on December 24, 1994…..
