Cerritos College Men’s Water Polo (2016): Appeared in 20 games and finished with 19 goals, 11 assists and 14 steals… Had a season-high four goals, two assists and three steals against Los Angeles Trade-Tech College, while posting two goals and five assists against Southwestern College… Had a pair of goals in four other games…..

Los Altos HS: Voted the Hacienda League Most Valuable Player as a senior after scoring 165 goals… Helped lead the team to the league championship… Scored just 10 goals as a junior… Specialized in the 100-yard freestyle (52.02) while on the swimming team… Spent two seasons on the water polo and swimming teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he had 10 goals, five steals and three assists against Arlington High and when he scored from five meters in a CIF Playoff game… Would like to transfer to Cal State Long Beach and aspires to be an accountant… His cousin Justin Contreras played water polo at San Jose State University, while his other cousin, Stephanie Contreras, played water polo at Arizona State University… Comes from a family where everyone played water polo… Hobbies include learning about cars… Nicknamed “Johnny”… Has two siblings – Emma (7) and Caleb (4)… Is the son of Claudia and Alma Mills… Born in City of Commerce, CA on June 15, 1998…..
