Don Bosco Tech HS:
Was a three-time All-Camino Del Rey League selection and was voted his team’s Best Singles Player as a senior after winning 98% of his matches… Also named the team’s Most Valuable Player… Helped his team win three straight league championships… Reached the CIF Semifinals in singles as a senior and in doubles his junior year… Also named the team’s Best Doubles Player three years in a row… Lost only one doubles match in each of his junior and sophomore seasons… Spent four years on the tennis team… Team as coached by his father…..

Personal:
Most memorable moment was coming back from a 1-5 deficit and posted a 7-5 win against the top player from La Salle High, which clinched the league title… Would like to transfer to either Lewis & Clark State College or Whittier College… Aspires to own a tennis academy and serve as a coach… Hobbies include playing tennis, playing the guitar and working on cars… Is the son of Rudy and Bertha Herrera… Born in Pasadena, CA on June 22, 1992…..
