Cerritos College Men’s Tennis (2014): Was one half of the CCCAA State Championship doubles team with Nathan Eshmade… The duo went 24-2 on the season and also captured the South Coast Conference title… In singles play, he went 22-3 overall, including a 17-1 record in the #2 position… Reached the Round of 16 at the state championships, but was forced to retire from the tournament… Prior to the start of the season, he teamed with Nathan Eshmade to win the 2013 USTA/ITA Southern Regional doubles championship… Advanced to the USTA/ITA Small Colleges National Championship in Florida… Reached the semi-finals and finished in fourth place…..

Malezi School (Kenya): Qualified for the Africa Junior Championships during his senior year in high school… Won the Nationals championship, as well as the Regional championship and Kenya Schools Sports Association championship three years in a row… Was named his team’s top player twice… As a sophomore, he was voted their Most Disciplined Student and earned Most Improved as a freshman…..

Personal: Would like to transfer to Morgan State (MD) University… Two of his older brothers play tennis in South Africa… Hobbies include reading… Nicknamed “Kenya West”… Has six brothers and three sisters… Is the son of Beatrice Kagoma… Born in Burundi, Africa on May 18, 1994…..
