Cerritos College Men’s Tennis (2015): Posted a 17-7 combined singles record while playing in four different positions on the ladder… Went 5-0 in the #3 spot, while he was 7-3 playing at #5… Also recorded a 12-1 doubles record and was paired with Amadi Kagoma for an 8-1 record… Reached the semifinals in singles play at the South Coast Conference Tournament before suffering a three-set loss to teammate Agustin Lombardi…..

Malezi School (Kenya): Was a two-time Kenya National Secondary Schools Singles Champion… Won the National Secondary School Championship all four years in high school, while placing second in the East Africa Youth Ball Games as a senior… Ranked in the Top 5 in Africa as a junior, while coming in second place in singles at the National Secondary School Games in singles as a sophomore after placing third his freshmen year… Spent two years as a member of the Uganda National Tennis Team… Represented the Uganda National Tennis Team in the ITF/CAT U14 circuits within the East African region in 2011… Was chosen by ITF/CAT to take part in the Africa Junior Masters Tournament which was held in Nairobi Kenya and finished ranked #3 in the U14 category… Was selected by the Uganda Olympic Committee to represent Uganda in the 2nd Edition of the Africa Youth Games in Gaborone, Botswana…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he defeated Imeh Joseph of Nigeria in the U14 ITF Africa Masters Semifinals to reach the finals… Comes from a family where all of his siblings play tennis, including his father… Hobbies include spending time in nature… Has six siblings – Cephas, Edward, Frank, Winnie, Immaculate and Justin… Is the son of Vicent Birungi and Kyosimire Leonidus … Born in Kampala, Uganda on September 8, 1997…..
