Cerritos College Men’s Track & Field (2018): Took 11th place at the South Coast Conference Championships in the 5000 meters (16:17.90) and ninth in the 10,000 meters (35:06.38)… Also competed in the 800 meters (2:20.53), 1500 meters (4:33.35), 1-mile (4:59.92), 3000 meters (9:45.21) and 2-mile (10:38.76)…..

Cerritos College Men’s Cross Country (2018): Posted a 145th place time of 23:00.9 at the CCCAA State Championships, while finishing in 83rd place at the Southern California Championships in a time of 21:25.4… At the South Coast Conference Championships, he came in 55th place with a clocking of 23:03.0, with his time of 26:32.9 at the Highlander Invitational putting him in 110th place… Earned a 44th place finish in the Brubaker Invitational with a time of 22:23.7, and was clocked in 31:13.3 to place 33rd at the UNLV Invitational… Completed the SoCal Preview Meet in a time of 22:09.9 to come in 110th place, while he came in 73rd place at the Fresno Invitational in 23:22.4… Opened the season at the Mark Covert Invitational with a 68th place finish in 27:40.2…..

Cerritos College Men’s Cross Country (2017): Came in 81st place at the CCCAA State Championships with a time of 22:57.0, while his time of 22:28.6 put him in 56th place… Finished in 34th place at the South Coast Conference Championships with a time of 23:01.6 and took 37th place at the Mt. San Antonio Invitational with a time of 22:33.7… Finished in 42nd place at the Triton Classic with his clocking of 28:13.4 and saw his time of 19:59 put him in 18th place at the UNLV Invitational… At the SoCal Preview Meet, he finished in 64th place with his time of 22:51.8, and placed 42nd at the Fresno Invitational… Completed the Redlands Invitational in 20:33.70, which put him in 29th place…..

Gahr HS: Named his team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior and junior and was their captain his senior year… While on the track and field team, he specialized in the 1600 meters (4:41) and 3200 meters (10:02)… Received the Best Athlete award as a senior and Best Newcomer his junior year… Posted a personal best time of 15:38 his senior season… Was coached by former Cerritos athlete and assistant coach Brian Leighliter…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he recorded a two-mile time of 10:02.0 at the Trabuco Invitational… Would like to transfer to Cal State Monterey Bay and aspires to be a social worker… Hobbies include playing basketball… Has one brother – Nate (17)… Is the son of Claudia Garcia… Born in Long Beach, CA on August 17, 1999…..
