Kennedy HS: As a junior on the water polo team, he helped the team win the Empire League championship and was their captain as a senior… Earned the team’s Rookie of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year awards… Spent two seasons on both the water polo team and swimming teams, who won the league title both years… Specialized in the 100-yard freestyle (54.4)… As a member of the wrestling team his sophomore year, posted a 12-2 record, while he played on a league championship football team his freshman year…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he scored eight goals in a game against Pacifica High… Would like to transfer to Biola University… Aspires to be a gang violence detective… Hobbies include running and playing music… Is the younger brother of teammate Joshua (20), while he has another sibling – Channon (16)… Nicknamed “Shadow”… Is the son of Wes and Cheyenne Owens… Born in Downey, CA on February 25, 1995…..
