Cerritos College Men’s Water Polo (2023): Named 1st Team All-South Coast Conference… Appeared in 33 games and finished the season with 52 goals, 42 assists and 36 steals… Also finished third on the team with 43 exclusions drawn… Posted a season-high four goals against El Camino College and had three goals in seven other games… Registered a season-high four assists against Mt. San Antonio College and finished with three assists in thee other games… Turned in three steals in consecutive games against Sierra College and Merced College… Had a three-game period where he drew 12 exclusions…..

Schurr HS: Named 1st Team All-CIF Division IV, 1st Team All-Almont League and was voted his team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior… Posted 80 goals, 54 assists and 58 steals… Selected the league’s Most Valuable Player as a junior, as well as being named 2nd Team Al-CIF and his team’s MVP… Finished with 119 goals and 81 exclusions drawn… While on the swimming team, he specialized in the 100-yard freestyle (53.0) and 200-yard freestyle (1:55.0)… Spent four seasons on the water polo and swimming teams… Was coached by former Cerritos assistant women’s water polo coach David Argumosa…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he scored 10 goals in a game against Beaumont High his junior season… Would like to transfer to Cal State Fullerton… His brother Simon (29) played water polo at Schurr High… Hobbies include riding dirt bikes… Is the son of Laura Garcia…..
