La Serna HS: Voted the cross country team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior and recorded a personal best time of 15:31 over three miles… Earned the track and field team’s Most Valuable Player award his senior year and specialized in the 1600 meters (4:22) and 3200 meters (9:50)… Received the Coaches Award as a junior on the track team... Spent four years on the cross country and track and field teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he posted his personal best time in cross country and came in third place in a league race and when he placed fifth at the Mt. San Antonio Invitational… Is working on a minor in business and would like to transfer to UCLA… His father and uncles all ran cross country and track at Santa Fe High… Hobbies include cycling… Has three siblings – Monica (21), Nick (16) and John (14)… Is the son of Martin and Lisa Lozano… Born on March 31, 1995…..
