California HS: Qualified for the Nationals as a senior after he came in second at the State Championships… Placed 220th at Nationals over a much longer course… Posted a personal best time of 15:13 on a three-mile course as a junior, and was a CIF qualifier three years in a row… Spent four seasons on the cross country and track and field teams… Specialized in the 800 meters (2:04), 1600 meters (4:25) and 3200 meters (9:34)… Helped the team go undefeated and win the Del Rio League championship as a sophomore after being voted the Freshman of the Year…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was his second place finish at the State Championships on a 5K course that helped his team come in second place and helped qualify him as the first from his school to run in the Nike Cross Nationals… Is studying to be a mathematician… Has two siblings – Charles (19) and Gabriel (14)… Is the son of Albert Roldan and Kimberly Martinez… Born in Downey, CA on August 29, 1995…..
