Cerritos College Track & Field (2013): Came in fifth place at the State Championships in the 10,000 meters with a personal best time of 31:25.82, which is the third fastest time in school history… Took sixth place at the Southern California Championships after a second place finish at the South Coast Conference Championships… Also finished sixth at the conference championships in the 5000 meters and had a personal best time of 14:56.08 during the year… Competed in the 800 meters (2:00.95), 1500 meters (4:03.93) and 3000 meters (8:52.20) during the year…..

Chico State University (2012): Attended Chico State University, but did not participate in athletics…..

Warren HS: While on the cross country team, he won the San Gabriel Valley League individual championship, was selected to a 1st Team Press Telegram Dream Team, and was voted his team’s Most Valuable Player… Posed a personal best time of 14:35 at the CIF Prelims… Was a two-time 1st Team all-league pick and helped his team win three straight league titles… Named 2nd Team Press Telegram Dream Team as a junior… Specialized in the 800 meters (1:56.0), 1600 meters (4:16) and 3200 meters (9:17) on the track and field team… Spent four years on the track and field and cross country teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was breaking the school’s cross country record his senior year with a time of 14:35… Aspires to be an FBI agent… Hobbies include playing sports… Has two siblings – Daisy (23) and Erik (21)… Is the son of Jose and Amparo Torres… Born in Bellflower, CA on January 17, 1994…..
