Jefferson HS: Won the Southern League championship in the 110-meter HH (15.0) and 400-meter IH (41.0) as a senior after coming in second place in both events his junior year… Helped the track team win two league titles and played on four straight league championship football teams… Was a member of the track and field and football teams for four years…..
