Cerritos College Cross Country (2015): Came in 172nd place at the Southern California Championships with a time of 24:30.92, while his time of 24:38.4 earned him a 26th place finish at the South Coast Conference Championships… Finished in 38th place at the Brubaker Invitational with a time of 23:34.3, while his time of 25:55.5 placed him 160th at the Golden West Invitational… Came in 22nd place at the SoCal Preview Open Meet with a time of 22:56.8 and he took 91st place in 28:05.04 at the Mark Covert Open…..

Cerritos College Track & Field (2016): Competed in the 1500 meters (4:24.6), 3000 meters (9:30.77), 5000 meters (16:19.22) and 10,000 meters (36:12.72)…..

Downey HS: Spent three years on the cross country and track and field teams… Was a CIF Qualifier in cross country as a sophomore and placed eighth in the San Gabriel Valley League Championships as a sophomore… While on the track team, he was a member of two league championship teams… Specialized in the 1600 meters (4:57) and 3200 meters (10:26)..…

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he reached the finals of the league championships in the 3200 meters with a personal best time and his performance at the Woodbridge Invitational on the cross country team… Would like to transfer to UC Irvine and aspires to be a lawyer… Hobbies include writing acoustic songs… Nicknamed “Paisa”… Has one brother – Ulysses (8)… Is the son of Margarito and Hilda Ayala… Born in Inglewood, CA on August 26, 1997…..
