Cerritos College Men’s Cross Country (2017): Came in 105th place at the Southern California Championships with a time of 23:18.2, while his time of 23.39.7 at the South Coast Conference Championships put him in 45th place… Had a time of 23:26.0 at the Mt. San Antonio Invitational earned him 72nd place, and he finished in 71st place at the Triton Classic with his time of 31:05.6… At the UNLV Invitational, he took 26th place in 20:27 and finished in 124th place at the SoCal Preview Meet in a time of 23:38.4… Placed 5rd at the Fresno Invitational with a time of 22:32.5…..

Cerritos College Track & Field (2018): Qualified for the Southern California Prelims in the 3000 meter steeplechase (10:30.29) after coming in eighth place at the South Coast Conference Championships… Also competed in the 800 meters (2:08.88), 1500 meters (4:24.35), 1-mile (4:51.16) and 3000 meters (9:51.61)…..

Warren HS: Helped lead the cross country team to consecutive San Gabriel Valley League championships… Posted a personal best time of 16:26 as a senior… While on the track and field team, he specialized in the 800 meters (2:11.0), 1600 meters (4:48.0) and 3200 meters (10:30.0)… Spent two seasons on the cross country and track and field teams…..

Personal: Would like to transfer to either UC Irvine or Cal Poly Pomona… Hobbies include playing soccer and swimming… His brother Khalil (21) will be his teammate this season… Has another sibling – Maryel (16)… Is the son of George Awad and Alis Abdullatif… Born in Syria on November 11, 1999…..
