Cerritos College Men’s Cross Country (2017): Placed 83rd at the South Coast Conference Championships in a time of 27:003, while his time of 28:26.6 at the Mt. San Antonio Invitational put him in 156th place… Posted at 81st place finish at the Triton Classic in 35:57.3, while he finished in 239th place with a time of 26:25.3 at the SoCal Preview Meet… Came in 55th place at the Redlands Invitational in a time of 23:25.86…..

Cerritos College Men’s Track & Field (2018): Took 10th place in the 1500 meters (4:33.35) at the South Coast Conference Championships… Also competed in the 600 meters (1:37.31), 800 meters (2:09.52) and 1-mile (5:01.71) during the season…..

Mayfair HS: Received the Monsoon Award as a senior and was the captain of the cross country and track and field teams… Posted a personal best time of 18:28 in cross country as a junior… Spent three seasons on the cross country and track and field teams… While on the track and field team, he specialized in the 400 meters (55.0) and 800 meters (2:06.0)…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he posted his personal best time in cross country against Bell Gardens High… Would like to transfer to either UCLA or Columbia University and aspires to be a customs and border officer or FBI special agent… Hobbies include playing video games and hanging out with friends… Nicknamed “Walt”… Has two siblings – Bryan (14) and Adriana (3)… Is the son of Walter Ramirez and Guadalupe Ortiz… Born in Torrance, CA on November 19, 1999…..
