Former Cerritos College women's basketball All-State forward Andrina Rendon, now a junior at Hope International University, was named 1st Team All-Golden State Athletic Conference. Rendon, who played for the Falcons from 2010-12, finished third in the GSAC with a 19.2 scoring average and also added 9.7 rebounds a game for the Royals. Rendon and Hope International (12-18) advanced to the GSAC playoffs where they fell to Biola on Monday 63-61, and are now waiting to play in the NCCAA Western Regional playoffs next week.

During the season, Rendon posted 11 double-doubles during the season and scored in double figures in all but one game. Her season high of 32 points came in the season opener against Bethesda University on the strength of eight made three-pointers. Despite being a rebounding machine, Rendon actually led the Royals with 75 made three pointers on the season.

While at Cerritos, Rendon, who missed the playoffs with an injury her sophomore season, was named 2nd Team All-State and 1st Team All-South Coast Conference. She led the team with a 14.7 scoring average and a 7.0 rebounding average on the year. Rendon was also an outside shooting threat, as 53 of her 116 baskets on the year were from three-point range, while she also led the way by netting 83-of-102 free throws for an .814 percentage. Rendon was also a 1st Team All-SCC selection her freshman year.
