San Pedro HS: Competed at 195 pounds during his senior and junior years… Came in second place at the City Championships two years in a row and second place at the Santiago Classic at 195 pounds… Took fifth place at 195 pounds in the City Championships his junior year… Spent two years on the wrestling and football teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when the football team defeated Narbonne High… Is working on a minor in creative writing… Would like to transfer to the University of Washington… Hobbies include archery…  Aspires to be an English professor… Has three siblings – Rory (25), Daniel (23) and Ivan (11)… Is the son of Wayne and Amorette Ballentyne… Born in Long Beach, CA on October 4, 1995…..
