California HS: Helped the team win three straight Del Rio League championships… Won the CIF title at 132 pounds as a senior and posted a 35-10 record… Won the Tournament of Champions at 126 pounds and placed fifth at the Masters Meet at 132 pounds… Was voted his team’s Most Valuable Player twice and earned 1st Team All-Area honors twice and 2nd Team as a sophomore… Placed third at the CIF Championships as a junior at 126 pounds and posted a 20-12 record… Competed at 106 pounds his sophomore season and went 20-10 while finishing fifth at the CIF Championships… Spent four years on the wrestling team…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were qualifying for the Masters Meet, as well as winning the Tournament of Champions and CIF titles… Hobbies include reading… Nicknamed “The Spaniard”… Has four siblings – Lala (16), Jose (10), Ana (8) and Shane (6)… Is the son of Shane and Patricia Pocock… Born in Whittier, CA on June 28, 1997…..
