Cerritos College Wrestling (2015): Qualified for the state championships at 141 pounds after coming in fifth place at the Southern California Championships… Dropped both of his matches at the state championships and finished the season with a 15-11 record… Took third place at the Santa Ana Tournament and sixth place at the Fresno City Open…..

California HS: Helped the team win three straight Del Rio League championships… Won the CIF title at 132 pounds as a senior and posted a 35-10 record… Won the Tournament of Champions at 126 pounds and placed fifth at the Masters Meet at 132 pounds, while qualifying for the state championships… Was voted his team’s Most Valuable Player twice and earned 1st Team All-Area honors twice and 2nd Team as a sophomore… A three-time Masters qualifier… Placed third at the CIF Championships as a junior at 126 pounds and posted a 20-12 record… Competed at 106 pounds his sophomore season and went 20-10 while finishing fifth at the CIF Championships… Spent four years on the wrestling team…..

Personal: Most memorable moments was when he defeated teammate Wyatt Gerl to qualify for the Masters meet… Aspires to be police sergeant… Hobbies include playing pool… Nicknamed “The Spaniard”… Has four siblings – Lala (17), Jose (11), Ana (9) and Shane (6)… Is the son of Shane and Jessica Pocock… Born in Whittier, CA on June 28, 1997…..
