Fountain Valley HS: Was a three-time 1st Team All-Sunset League selection… Won the CIF championship at 160 pounds as a junior, while his team also won the title… Went 36-1 at 160 pounds as a senior… Won every tournament his senior season, except for the Five Counties, where he came in second place… Came in second place at the CIF Championships his junior season at 145 pounds… Also a member of the football team and earned 1st Team all-league recognition his senior season…..

Personal: Would like to transfer to any school that will give him a scholarship… Aspires to be a Navy Seal… His father was on the wrestling team at Golden West College… Nicknamed “OG Mudbone”… Has one brother – Bryant (19), who will be his teammate this season and a sister, Tiffany (22)… Is the son of Robert and Jennifer Vasquez… Born on May 18, 1998…..
