Los Alamitos HS: Was a three-time Scholar-Athlete and two-time Sunset League champion… As a senior, he also won the CIF Championship, placed fourth at the Masters Meet and eighth at the State Championship… Named the league’s Most Valuable Player, while earning all-league, All-CIF, All-Academic and team Most Valuable Player recognition… Won the championship at the Andrew Pina Classic and came in third place at the Five Counties Tournament… Helped the team win the league championship his junior season while placing sixth at CIF and was voted All-Academic, and his team’s MVP… Was also a member of the track and field team…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were when he won the CIF championship and placing at the state championships… Would like to transfer to BYU and aspires to be a construction manager… Hobbies include playing spikeball… Has four siblings – Dustin (29), Dylan (27), Emily (26) and Austin (24)… Is the son of Ralph and DeNette Bakker… Born in Anaheim, CA on August 30, 1999…..
