Downey HS: His team placed second at the CIF Dual Championships three seasons in a row… Qualified for the Masters Meet at 182 pounds and posted a 31-18 record as a senior after coming in fourth place at the CIF Championships… Selected to the Press Telegram 2nd Team Dream Team… Was a three-year member of the 10-Pin Club… Took second place at the Scott Davis Invitational and Juan Enriquez Memorial Tournament… Voted his team’s Most Improved Wrestler as a junior and freshman… Team won the San Gabriel Valley League championship his sophomore season and took second at the CIF Duals… Helped the win the league title as a freshman… Spent four years on the wrestling team…..
