Cerritos College Wrestling (2016): Earned All-American status after coming in fourth place at 165 pounds at the CCCAA State Championships… Won three matches at the state championships, with his only two losses being 6-5 scores against Arman Fayyazi of Santa Ana College… Posted a 16-6 record on the year, which included going 10-5 at 165 pounds and 6-1 at 174 pounds… Helped the team win the Southern California Championship by placing second at 165 pounds… Won the championship at 165 pounds at the West Valley Tournament and placed second at the Santa Ana Tournament…..

Fountain Valley HS: Was a three-time 1st Team All-Sunset League selection and won the league championship four years in a row… Won the CIF championship at 160 pounds as a junior, while his team also won the title… Went 36-1 at 160 pounds as a senior and was 45-6 at 160 pounds his junior year… Won every tournament his senior season, except for the Five Counties, where he came in second place… Came in second place at the CIF Championships his junior season at 145 pounds… Recorded a 60-10 record at 145 pounds as a sophomore and was 62-12 at 126 pounds during his freshman season… Also a member of the football team and earned 1st Team all-league recognition his senior season…..
