North Torrance HS: Was a three-time CIF qualifier… Won the Pioneer League championship as a senior after competing at 145 pounds and then came in seventh place at the CIF Championships… Competed on the wrestling team for four seasons, as well as the track and field team for two years and one season on the cross country team… Won the league championship in the 300-meter hurdles as a sophomore…..
