Cerritos College Wrestling (2018): Was an All-American at 149 pounds after placing fourth at the CCCAA State Championships… Posted a 9-4 record at 149 pounds and was 15-3 while competing at 157 pounds… Reached the quarterfinals before losing and came back to win three straight matches before dropping the third place match… Finished third at the Southern California Championships… Advanced to the finals of the Fresno City Open but was forced to forfeit in the championships due to an injury… Took fourth place at the Cuesta Tournament after reaching the semifinals… Placed third at the Santa Ana Tournament at 157 pounds after reaching the semifinals…..

Cerritos College Wrestling (2017): Spent the season as a red-shirt…..

Calvary Chapel (Santa Ana) HS: Finished in seventh place at the National Tournament his senior year and was named All-American… Named All-American in the Reno Worlds and Rumble in Reno Tournaments as a senior… Won the Battle at Midway Tournament, took second at the Rocky Mt. Nationals and first place at the Halloween Open.… Also named 2nd Team All-CIF at 138 pounds… Was a three-time CIF Qualifier… Won the Orange Coast League championship at 138 pounds his junior year and 126 pounds his sophomore season… Spent four years on the wrestling team…..

Personal: Most memorable was placing at the Reno World Championships… Would like to transfer to either Fresno State University or Cal State Bakersfield… His father and uncles all wrestled in high school… Hobbies include playing video games… Has two siblings – Alyssa (17) and Cross (12)… Is the son of Larry Rodriguez and Nicolle Alua… Born in Whittier, CA on December 12, 1998…..
