Cerritos College Wrestling (2018): Spent the season as a red-shirt…..

Cerritos College Wrestling (2017): Took seventh place at the CCCAA State Championships after coming in fourth place at the Southern California Championships… Posted a 15-9 record at 184 pounds… Won his first two matches at the Santa Ana Tournament to reach the quarterfinals, while he came in fourth place at the West Hills Tournament…..

El Dorado HS: Was a two-time Masters Meet qualifier, while being named 3rd Team All-CIF two seasons in a row… Won the Century League championship at 182 pounds three seasons in a row and went undefeated… Voted his team’s Most Outstanding Wrestler as a senior and junior, while earning 3rd Team All-Country recognition his junior season… Came in fifth place at the Sierra Nevada Classic… Three-time CIF Qualifier… Posted a 30-8-1 record his senior season… Spent four years on the wrestling team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was being the only sophomore to place at the Zinkin Classic… Would like to transfer to Cal State Bakersfield… Aspires to be either an MMA fighter or work with troubled youth… Hobbies include sleeping and going to swap meets… Has three brothers and two sisters… Nicknamed “The One-Armed Bandit”… Is the son of Raul Verduzco and Marla Tapia… Born in Santa Ana, CA on December 31, 1996…..
