Downey HS: Specialized in the 50-yard freestyle (27.01), 100-yard butterfly (1:10.56), 200-yard freestyle (2:06.41) and 500-yard freestyle (5:41.06)… Was voted the team’s Most Valuable Player two years in a row… Spent four seasons on the swimming team…..
