Without the benefit of winning any events, the Cerritos College women's swimming team still compiled enough points to come in second place at the South Coast Conference Championships, which were held at Mt. San Antonio College over the last three days.

Freshman Lizbeth Ramirez picked up three individual wins and a relay win on Friday, to help the Cerritos College women's team to a pair of South Coast Conference wins.
Led by five of their relay teams, the Cerritos College women's swimming team finished with 105 team points, which put them in seventh place at the Golden West Invitational on Friday.
Over the weekend the Cerritos College women's swimming got their season started by competing in the Palomar Pentathlon and Waterman Relays at Palomar College.
