Cerritos College freshman swimmer Kaya Glynn, who finished fifth at the CCCAA State Championships in the 200-yard butterfly, has earned CCCAA All-American honors. She is the first Falcon All-American since Amanda Loya in 2015.

Glynn, who came in second place at the South Coast Conference Championships, posted a season-best time of 2:24.72 in the state championship finals and came in eighth place. It was a very close race, as Glynn was just edged out by two other swimmers, which could have put her in sixth place. Santa Monica College's Guilana Castro (2:24.33) and Bakersfield College's Kristyn Feola (2:24.40) hit the finishing pad just ahead of Glynn.

In the prelims of the race, Glynn recorded a time of 2:27.29, which was eighth overall and a slim .01 of a second faster than ninth place Laura Estrada of San Diego Mesa College, who was forced to compete in the consolation finals of the event. Only the top eight times in the prelims compete in the championship finals, while the next eight finishers swim in the consolation finals.
