Joining the Cerritos College volleyball staff for his second season is Nate Ngo, who came to the program with more than 13 years of volleyball coaching and data analyst experience with Olympic, international, collegiate and junior level teams. He has served as the performance analyst for USA Volleyball since 2015 and played a role in the team winning a bronze medal in the 2016 Olympics, as well as a gold, silver and four bronze medals in international competition. Ngo also serves as a coach for Gold Medal Squared, Inc., which works with high school camps.

Ngo also has served as a volunteer coach at UCLA (2019-20), Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (2018), and the University of Denver (2017). While with Cal Poly, SLO, they captured the Big West Conference championship and qualifed for the NCAA Tournament, while at Denver, they were Summit League champions and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.

From 2015-17, Ngo coached with Tom Pestolesi at Irvine Valley College, where they won an Orange Empire Conference title. When Pestolesi took a sabbatical in 2016, Ngo served as the interim head coach, and he led them to the 2nd Round of the Southern California Regional Playoffs. Ngo came to Irvine Valley from the University of Portland, where he served as an assistant coach for the women's volleyball team. Prior to that, Ngo served as the graduate manager of the University of Nebraska women's volleyball team. He was also a volunteer assistant coach for the women's team at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Ngo served as technical coordinator for the U.S. Women's Junior National Team in 2013 and 2014 and also for the SVS Post professional club team in Vienna, Austria in 2011.

Additionally, Ngo was the VIS (Volleyball Information System) supervisor at various international volleyball events, including the 2009 Women's Pan Am Cup, multiple weekends of FIVB World League in 2010 and 2011, and the NORCECA Men's Olympic Qualifier in 2012.

His duties with USA volleyball include keeping track of statistics for the U.S. Men using DataVolley and scouting for the team at tournaments.

Ngo earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2010 and his Master of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2013.
