Cerritos College Water Polo (2015): Appeared in 23 games and scored 11 goals, with two assists and eight steals…..

Cerritos College Women’s Swimming (2016): Placed fifth at the South Coast Conference Championships in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:16.22), and also competed in the 100-yard butterfly (1:15.34), 200-yard freestyle (2:28.35), 200-yard breaststroke (2:56.01), 200-yard IM (2:31.51) and 400-yard IM (5:47.04)…..

Paramount HS: Named All-San Gabriel Valley League as a senior on the water polo team… Received the Coaches Award her senior and junior years, while earning the Spirit Award her junior season… Helped the team win the San Gabriel Valley League championship… Also voted the team’s Most Valuable Player as a sophomore… While on the swimming team, she specialized in the 50-yard freestyle (27.0), 100-yard freestyle (1:03.0) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:21.0)… Spent four years on the water polo and swimming teams…..

Personal: Would like to transfer to UC Santa Barbara… Hobbies include graphic design and photography… Nicknamed “Val”… Is the daughter of Rafael Barboza and Sandra Sahagun… Born in Paramount, CA on March 2, 1997…..
