UC Irvine: Attended UC Irvine out of high school, but they do not have a swimming program…..

Bell Gardens HS: Named 1st Team All-Almont League as a senior after earning 2nd Team all-honors as a junior… Helped the team win the El Rancho Tournament her junior season… Voted her team’s Offensive Player of the Year as a freshman and sophomore on the junior varsity team… As a member of the swimming team, she specialized in the 50-yard freestyle (29.0), 100-yard freestyle (1:06) and 100-yard butterfly (1:15), while also swimming a leg of the 200-yard freestyle relay and 200-yard medley relay…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when she turned in her personal best time in the 50-yard freestyle… Would like to transfer to either UC Irvine or Cal State Fullerton and aspires to be a math teacher… Six of her cousins competed in water polo and swimming in high school… Hobbies include playing Pokémon Go … Has two siblings – Ashley (24) and Carlos (18)… Is the daughter of Carlos and Alicia Hinojisa… Born in Bellflower, CA on May 8, 1995…..
