Cerritos College Women’s Wrestling (2023): Won the 3C2A State Championship at 180 pounds, while she also won the Sacramento City Tournament, Leader of the Pack Tournament and Cerritos Freestyle Tournament… Came in second place at the Menlo Tournament, where she suffered her only loss of the season… Went 20-1 on the year at 180 pounds…..

Tiffin University Women’s Wrestling (2022): Spent the season as a red-shirt…..

University of Cumberlands Women’s Wrestling (2022): Came in third place at the Eagle Madness Tournament at 170 pounds, while she went 202 at the Missouri Valley Open at 170 pounds…..

Corona HS: Helped the wrestling team win the CIF Dual Team Wrestling Championship as a senior, while she won the National Championship at 143 pounds, CIF Championship and league championship at 150 pounds… Competed at Cerritos High her freshman thru junior seasons… Won the District and league championship all three of those seasons and was voted the team’s Most Valuable Player each year… Was a state qualifier at 126 pounds her junior year, as well as being the Masters Meet runner-up and CIF Regional champion… Won the freestyle state championship at 126 pounds her junior season and also placed fifth at the state championship and third place at the Master Meet… Was a Masters Meet placer and state qualifier at 126 pounds as a freshman…..

Personal: Most memorable was transferring to a different school for her senior season… Is working on a double major with Athletic Training… Aspires to be an athletic trainer… Would like to transfer to Cal State Fullerton… Hobbies include singing and lifting weights… Sang the National Anthem at the 3C2A State Championships… Nicknamed “Smiley Niley”… Has one sibling – Faith (16)… Is the daughter of Bryan and Estelila Jernigan… Born in Bellflower, CA on January 1, 2003…..
