Valeria Guerra represented Cerritos College at the CCCAA State Championships

As the lone Cerritos College representative at the CCCAA State Championships, freshman Valeria Guerra (Warren HS) placed 105th place on Saturday. Running at Woodward Park in Fresno, Guerra posted a time of 21:93.9 over the 3.1 mile course. The team did not qualify for the state championships, but Guerra's time at the Southern California Championships was good enough for her to advance to the state championships.
Guerra posted a time of 21:19.3 through the first mile and then was clocked in 13:35.8 at the conclusion of the second mile before finishing with her final time. She was one of 167 runners that competed on the day.
