In his second season as a member of the Cerritos coaching staff is Pete Moye’, who will serve in several capacities. Moye’ will work with the nickels, kick returners and the scout team defense.

A product of Long Beach Poly High, where he played football, Moye’ went on to play at Los Angeles Harbor College in 2012, East Los Angeles College in 2013 and then transferred to Southwestern (KS) College and played in 2014.

Moye’ began his coaching career as a defensive backs and kick return coach at East Los Angeles College and assistant coach at Mayfair High in 2015, while he moved on to serve as the wide receivers and tight ends coach at Golden West College from 2016-18. From 2019-20, he was an assistant coach at Los Altos High and was named the head coach at Sierra Vista High in 2021.

Moye’ earned his Bachelor’s degree in liberal studies from Arizona State University in 2021 and is currently working on his Master’s degree in Sports Administration from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

Moye (31) and his fiancé Henriette have one son, Ezra, who was born in April, 2021.
