In his third year on the staff, Matt Dold, also served double-duty as the boys’ varsity coach at St. Anthony High School until 2019. He also serves as a coach with the Beach FC and works with age groups ranging from 5-8 years old.

Dold brings 16 years of club soccer coaching experience to the Falcons, and has a high success rate of placing both boys and girls into college programs, as well as the recognition of developing some of the best State, Regional and National level players in Northern and Southern California.

He began his career at Atletico Santa Rosa, which is most recently recognized for the development of Jonathan Gonzalez, current Mexican National Team Soccer Player and C.F. Monterrey. From 2009-2011, he coached U9-12 boys.  In 2011 he moved to the girl’s side of the program and created three teams his first year as well as sending eight girls to college.

In 2015 he moved to Bakersfield and coached for two years at South Valley Thunder. While in Bakersfield he helped develop two players for State ODP.  He also coached Stockdale High in Bakersfield, California as the girls’ varsity head coach.

Dold, 36, prepped at Maria Carrillo High in Santa Rosa and then went on to play at Slippery Rock University. He has his wife Coryn were married in 2017 and reside in Yorba Linda. He is currently working on his Bachelor’s degree in Communication from ASU online.
