Cerritos College Men’s Water Polo (2018): Spent the season as a red-shirt…..

Santa Fe HS: While on the swimming team, he specialized in the 100-yard freestyle (1:03) and 100-yard backstroke (1:21)… As a member of the water polo team, he was named All-Del Rio League honorable mention two seasons in a row… Scored 30 goals with 13 assists and six blocks his senior season after accounting for 20 goals, eight assists and seven blocks his junior season… Posted 14 goals with five assists and eight blocks in his sophomore season… Spent three years on the swimming and water polo teams, while he was also a member of the baseball team…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were when he posted his personal best swimming times and when he scored six goals against Puente Hills High and had five goals against Pioneer High in water polo… Would like to transfer to Cal State Long Beach and aspires to be a computer programmer… Hobbies include collecting baseball cards and playing video games… Nicknamed “Ray the Great”… Has one brother – David (15)… Is the son of Abe and Monique Gutierrez… Born in Whittier, CA on December 10, 1999…..
