Cerritos College Men’s Track & Field (2018): Qualified for the SoCal Prelims in the pole vault (4.05 meters)…..

Bellflower HS: Voted his team’s Most Valuable Pole Vaulter (12’ 6”) as a senior… While on the cross country team, he posted a personal best time of 19:23.4 over a 2.9-mile course and a time of 20:36.7 covering a three-mile course… Was a member of the track and field team for two seasons and one year with the cross country team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he recorded his best pole vault height at the league finals… Would like to transfer to Cal State Long Beach and aspires to be either an engineer, physicist or astrophysicist… Hobbies include playing the piano and taking care of his pet bunnies… Has four siblings – Cristian (17), Anthony (11), Andrea (9) and Andrew (9)… Is the son of Juan Olivarez and Gladys Espinoza… Born in Mexico on September 27, 1999…..
