Bell Gardens HS: Voted his team’s Most Valuable Player after receiving the Most Improved Award during his junior year… Competed in the pole vault (13’ 6”), 200 meters (23.50) and 400 meters (53.49)… Was also a member of the cross country team and recorded a three-mile time of 18:38… Spent four seasons on the track and field team and three with the cross country team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he posted his best height in the pole vault at the CIF Prelims and best 400-meter time at the league finals… Would like to transfer to UC Santa Barbara, UCLA or Cal State Stanislaus… Hobbies include cooking… Has four siblings – Miguel (28), Jonathan (24), Anthony (23) and Erick (15)… Is the son of Ricardo and Veronica Lanton… Born in Paramount, CA on September 17, 2000…..
