From 2014-15, Jocelyn Orozco was an 800-meter runner at Cerritos College and placed fifth at the CCCAA State Championships after winning the conference title. Orozco is in her first season with the coaching staff. Additionally, Orozco was a member of the Cerritos cross country team at qualified for the CCCAA State Championships.

Prior to coming to Cerritos, Orozco competed at Azusa Pacific University her freshman season and ran a leg of their NAIA National Championship 4x800-meter relay team. She also spent her freshman year running cross country for Azusa Pacific.

Orozco went on to earn a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Physical Activity Coaching and Conditioning from Sacramento State University in 2017.

Orozco, 24, is single and lives in Montebello.
