A member of the track and field coaching staff for his second season is Taylor Cudequest. While at Cal State Northridge, Cudequest took fourth place at the Big West Championships in the decathlon (6733 points), while he also competed in the 400 meters (50.53) and place fourth in his senior season. In his junior season, he qualified for the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships and took ninth at the Big West Conference Championships in the decathlon.

A graduate of Pascack (NJ) High, Cudequest qualified for the New Balance Indoor and Outdoor National Championships, where he placed third in the country and earned All-American honors.

In 2019, Cudequest served as an assistant coach at Mayfield High in Pasadena and helped lead them to the EMT Prep League championship and had eight CIF qualifiers. He coached the hurdlers, jumpers and sprinters at the school.

A USATF Level II certified coach in sprints, hurdles and relays, Cudequest earned his Bachelors degree in Mathematics at Cal State Northridge in 2017. Cudequest, 27, is single and lives in Fullerton.
