Los Alamitos HS: Was a two-time 2nd Team All-County selection after placing fourth at the CIF Championships both seasons… Won the league championship at 152 pounds as a senior after taking second in the league championships at 145 pounds his junior season… Voted the team’s Most Valuable Player his senior and junior years… Took fifth at the Mann Classic and sixth at the Tournament of Champions… Named the team’s Rookie of the Split as a sophomore and their Freshman of the year… Spent four seasons on the wrestling team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was defeating the same guy in the league championships that beat him in a dual two weeks earlier… Would like to transfer to UCLA and aspires to be a motion graphic designer… Hobbies include video editing… Speaks Japanese… Has one brother – Hugh… Is the son of Keiko Kowalewski… Born in Fountain Valley, CA on July 6, 2001…..
