El Dorado HS: Voted the North Hills League Most Valuable Player as a senior after qualifying for the Masters Meet, while placing fifth at the CIF Championships and second at the league championships… Also voted his team’s Most Valuable Player and their captain… Won the El Dorado Tournament (145 pounds), while coming in second place at the Brea Holiday Classic (145) and third at the Tournament of Champions (138 pounds)… In his junior year, he was a 1st Team All-Orange County selection, as well as finishing second at CIF and winning the league title… Voted the team’s Most Outstanding Wrestler… Qualified for CIF his sophomore season after coming in fourth at the league championships… Spent four years on the wrestling team and one season with the football team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he reached the CIF Finals… Would like to transfer to the University of Washington… His father wrestled at El Dorado High and Santa Ana College… Hobbies include playing video games and comic books… Nicknamed “Sparky”… Has two siblings - Keanu (12) and Manny (8)… Is the son of Jason Sparks and Ramee Copenhauer… Born in Los Alamitos, CA on December 12, 2000…..
